Qase Q4 2023 Updates

Here at Qase, we've been busy making improvements to the product to ensure that you, our users, get even more value from our incredible tool. Our unwavering goal is to make our users lives' easier and help them to ship quality products faster. Our growth has seen us onboard lots of new customers in 2023 so in Q4, we spent much of our time working on improving our infrastructure to ensure that we maintain our reliability, scalability, and performance. However, we know that our users want more cool features so we've also delivered a number of improvements that we know you will love.

Qase Query Language (QQL) auto-suggest and syntax highlighting

QQL is a vital feature for many Qase users, giving them the ability to create powerful queries on which you can perform deep analysis of your data. You can save a QQL query and use it for more granular data analysis or as a method of creating a custom list of cases that can be executed in a Test Run. With QQL, you have a flexible method of gathering your Qase data.

Previously, when creating a QQL query, users had to know the QQL syntax. Any grammatical errors meant that the query would not execute and users had to troubleshoot the syntax in order to remedy the issue. This was a time-consuming and frustrating exercise. Now, QQL comes with syntax highlight, immediately pointing out to the user if they make a grammatical mistake.

QQL also has a syntax highlighter that applies various colors to specific keywords to differentiate their applicability and an auto-suggest capability that prompts the user to select the correct query attribute, saving time and reducing errors.
