We attend, sponsor, expo and speak at various conferences both in-person and online every year, so we maintain a pretty long list of conferences on our radar. We thought we’d save you all some time and share our comprehensive list of DevOps, software testing, software development, and quality assurance conferences in 2024.

DevOps conferences
DevWorld
DevWorld is a two-day conferenced designed for leaders in tech, tech teams, and product managers.
This large conference has talks across seven tracks: Leaders in Tech, AI for Developers, DevOps & Cloud, Javascript, Backend, Product Managers, and Web3. According to DevWorld, attendees can expect sessions from top companies like Google, Philips, Gartner, Netflix, IBM, AWS, and Microsoft.

DevOps Days Zurich
DevOps Days Zurich is a two-day conference. Programming fits into four categories: Talk (standard sessions), Ignite (igniting ideas and discussion), Open Space (networking and community-building), and Workshops (hands-on).
The agenda includes talks on topics such as pipeline patterns & antipatterns, how AI & automation work alongside humans, and crafting durable software systems. Ignite sessions discuss subjects such as dogfooding, continuous development, preventing burnout, and making tech conferences more diverse.

DevOpsCon 2025
DevOpsCon focuses on CI/CD, Kubernetes Ecosystem, Agile, and Lean Business. This London-based conference offers in-person and virtual options for sessions, workshops, and networking opportunities.
The conference includes sessions in seven tracks: business and company culture, continuous integration & continuous delivery (CI/CD), containerization & the Kubernetes ecosystem, cloud platforms, system design & software architecture, DevSecOps & cloud security, and Observability & service mesh.
DevOpsCon 2025 will kick off with a keynote by Sebastian Meyen, Software & Support Media GmBH. Sessions and workshops cover topics such as GitOps, culture in tech organizations, and platform engineering.

Quality assurance and software testing conferences
International Conference on Software Testing 2025
The 18th annual International Conference on Software Testing (ICST) will held in Naples, Italy. ICST aims to provide a space for engineers, scientists, and researchers to come together to share research, ideas, and new developments.
All research papers submitted to ICST are peer-reviewed and evaluated based on quality, originality, and relevance so attendees can anticipate well-researched presentations by top scientists and practitioners.

StarEast 2025

StarEast is an in-person and virtual Techwell software conference for software testing and quality.
While sessions are still in development, StarEast promises over 75 talks, including keynotes, tutorials, and sessions. The long list of topics to be covered includes test automation, accessibility, test strategy, career development, security testing, and many more.
StarEast also offers pre-conference training, which provides attendees with opportunities to earn ISTQB certifications, Agile certifications, and test automation training.

World Conference on Quality & Improvement 2025
The World Conference on Quality & Improvement (WCQI) is a long-standing conference that brings quality professionals together to share knowledge and host discussions.
For 2025, they’ve highlighted 3 core topics that attendees will learn about:
- Elevating human performance within the context of quality, including strategies for developing high performing teams
- Process performance enhancement, focusing on how to foster collaboration in process improvement and leveraging diverse expertise to take on challenges
- Tools and technology, concentrating on the role of tools and tech in the pursuit of quality

Nordic Testing Days
Nordic Testing Days is an annual conference that was originally aimed at software testers, but has expanded to offer material for programmers, UX specialists, designers, project managers, and more. The Qase team attended and spoke at NTD in June 2024. We loved the unique venue and intimate atmosphere for networking.
Talks and sessions have not been announced for 2025. Past years have covered key topics such as enhancing quality with AI, test architecture, API testing, and automation.

Software Quality Days
Software Quality Days is a two-day event covering various topics such as requirements and engineering management, testing methods, lean and agile methodologies, risk management, coding, CI/CD, and software quality management.
While they have not announced specific sessions yet, they have set a guiding theme: Balancing Software Innovation and Regulatory Compliance.

ExpoQA 2025
ExpoQA is a 3-day conference where software testing and quality engineering from all over Europe and beyond meet up for sessions, master classes, and hands-on workshops.
Each year, the conference selects a theme. In 2024, talks and sessions concentrated on “the practicality of testing and implementing quality in everyday life and work.” They have not announced a theme or released programming for 2025 yet, but past events have covered various testing and development methodologies, AI, and team collaboration.

GreaTEST Quality
GreaTEST Quality is a one-day event designed for testers, test leads, test managers, CTOs, CIO, and IT professionals of all levels.
The event promises interactive workshops, community and network-building activities, and a full day of talks. The full agenda has not yet been released, but five speakers have committed:
- Eric Proegler, Staff Platform Engineer, Credit Karma
- Susanne Schmidt-Rauch, social science UX research and co-founder of evux
- Laveena Ramchandani, Test Manager and leader in data science testing

EuroSTAR 2025

EuroSTAR is a 4-day conference that draws in more than 1,000 software testers for educational sessions run by industry experts.
The 2025 edition of EuroSTAR will take place in Edinburgh, Scotland, and concentrate on the theme: AI on Trial. Sessions are still in the works, but the early speaker list includes Adam Matłacz of Space to Grow, Erika Chestnut of The Leaders QA Consulting, Mark Harman of Meta, Maryna Didkovska of EPAM, and Leandro Melendez of Grafana Labs.

Romanian Testing Conference 2025
The Romanian Testing Conference (RTC) is a community-centric event that promotes deep discussions, entertaining sessions, and helpful workshops.
At the time of publishing, RTC has not set a date or programming for the 2025 event. Past years have included well-known keynote speakers such as Rachel Kibler, Lena Nyström, and Mathias Jansson. Each conference also includes tutorials from industry experts, covering topics such as using testing to cultivate a culture of quality, using heuristics, and creating test automation plans that actually work.

QA or the Highway
The Midwest’s largest software conference, QA or the Highway, is a one-day conference in Columbus, Ohio.
Keynote speakers for the 2025 event include Rex Black, Author & QA Architect at Epic Games, and Tariq King, CEO at Test IO. The final schedule will be released in May 2025.
QA or the Highway is one of the most affordable events, especially for US-based professionals. Tickets include access to all talks along with meals, snacks, and conference raffles.

Testing Talks Sydney
Testing Talks Sydney is a one-day conference that promises technical and leadership workshops, engaging talks, and fun prizes and surprises throughout the day.
Testing Talks has not released much information about specific speakers or programming for 2025. However, they have shared that they’ve selected a larger venue, added more technical workshops, and will focus on sharing practical insights.

StarWest 2025

StarWest, a Techwell event, will take place in the Disneyland Hotel in Anaheim, California — giving attendees the chance to experience a bit of Disney magic while they’re in town.
Each year, StarWest attendees can attend 70+ sessions, workshops, and networking opportunities. Programming for 2025 has not been announced yet. To get an idea of what to expect, you can explore the previous schedule, which included keynotes by Jason Arbon of Checkie.AI, Priyanka Halder of HealthEdge, Alison Wade of TechWell Corp., Dona Sarkar of Microsoft, and Sophia Küster of Cronn.

TestBash Brighton 2025
Ministry of Testing hosts several TestBash online events throughout the year. TestBash Brighton is a two-day event dedicated to community building, networking, games, and knowledge sharing.
Programming is still in the works. Previous years have included group activities, ambassadors that help attendees expand their network, and experts hosting various 99-minute workshops.

Hungarian Software Testing Forum (HUSTEF)
HUSTEF is a two-day conference focused on building knowledge about software quality and testing. HUSTEF has gained a reputation for quality programming thanks to their “no-pay-to speak” policy. In 2025, they’ll celebrate their 15th anniversary!
The theme for 2025 is “Pimp Up My Testing Skills.” At the time of publication, HUSTEF is still accepting proposals for sessions that will help make people’s skills more relevant in the industry. They’re also looking for inspiring tales of success or failure, and a mix of new and tried-and-true testing methods, and practical guidance.

Pacific Northwest Software Quality Conference (PNSQC)
If you’re looking for another US-based conference to add to your list, consider the Pacific Northwest Software Quality Conference (PNSQC) in Portland, Oregon.
Each year, PNSQC selects a theme for the conference. Last year, it was “The Future is NOW!” To help select the 2025 theme, PNSQC is hosting a “Quality Jam” in-person and online.
Previous events have been split into various tracks. In 2024, the tracks included Process & Tools, Emerging Technologies & Concepts, Management, Leadership & People, and Virtual Presenters.

TestCon Europe 2025

TestCon Europe 2025 will happen online and in person in Vilnius, Lithuania. In the past, TestCon has attracted mainly mid and senior-level professionals in roles such as QA engineers, software testers, managers & team leads, and test automation engineers.
This four-day conference includes more than 75 talks covering a wide range of topics. Attendees can look forward to sessions on TestOps, AI-powered testing, risk-based testing, release management, traceability, exploratory testing, test environment automation, test data automation, and more.

Testing United Conference
All levels of testers can benefit from the programming at the two-day Testing United Conference.
The theme for 2025 is “Getting value from testing beyond 2025: Don’t lose money with AI, Automation and New skills while transforming QA in your organization.” The event will feature 18 speakers and 6 workshops, providing attendees with ample opportunities to learn from experts, engage in workshops, and make connections with fellow industry professionals.

Agile Testing Days 2025
Agile Testing Days (Agile TD) is a long-standing conference that offers both onsite and virtual options for software testers, software engineers, QA leads, QA engineers, agile testers, software developers, test automation specialists, agile coaches or scrum masters, product owners, and team leads.
Each year, Agile TD serves up more than 100 sessions, 80 speakers, and 800 attendees from around the world. This event also includes a day completely dedicated to tutorials. Attendees can choose from various full-day workshops, single conference days, or a combination.

Automation and AI conferences
Test Automation Days is a two-day conference for the international test automation community. It’s an ideal networking and learning opportunity for professionals in IT management like CIOs and CTOs, IT professionals such as Test Managers and Engineers, and business management like Project Managers and Software Suppliers.
In 2025, Test Automation Days will concentrate on future-proofing test automation and finding the right balance. You can look forward to keynote talks such as:

This three-day conference includes one optional day of workshops and two full days of talks. Day one kicks off with a keynote, Selenium & Appium: State of the Union, by Jonathan Lipps and Maaret Pyhäjärvi. AI Con USA
Techwell puts on several conferences throughout the year. Last year we featured (and attended!) Agile + DevOps USA, which is still listed on the Techwell website, but at the time of publishing, there is no information about dates or programming. However, we’re intrigued by their upcoming AI-focused conference, AI Con USA.
This hybrid conference offers both online and in-person programming in Seattle, Washington. It promises to feature more than 50 talks, tutorials, and sessions covering topics such as Generative AI, AI and Machine Learning productivity tools, data strategy, Ethical AI, LLMs, MLOps, AIOps, and leadership.
When: June 8-13, 2025

AutomationSTAR
Hosted by the same team behind EuroSTAR, AutomationSTAR is a two-day event that focuses exclusively on test automation.
AutomationSTAR aims to share the latest information about test automation and provide actionable training and techniques for scaling test automation in your organization.
Programming is still in the early stages, but several great speakers have been added to the lineup, including Maryam Umar of Booking.com, Leandro Melendez of Grafana Labs, Lalitkumar Bhamare of Accenture Song, and semi-retired software testing and development expert Dorothy Graham.

Agile conferences
ScanAgile
🎤Attend a talk by Qase Developer Advocate Vitaly Sharovatov
ScanAgile aims to bring the top minds in Agile together to share knowledge, encourage discussions, and provide workshops.
Talks fit into one of three tracks: Leadership and Organizational Agility, Technical Agility and Engineering Excellence, and Scaling Agile and Future Trends. Day one will start with a keynote by Linda Liukas that asks (and answers) the question: What if solving problems in tech could feel as natural as playing on a playground?

Agile on the Beach 2024
Agile on the Beach is a conference geared towards professionals working in Agile or anyone interested in leveraging the Agile methodology. And while the conference is actually held inside the Fairmouth University in Falmouth, England, attendees can enjoy the lovely beachside town.
Talks fall under various categories, such as engineering, design & product, organizations, teams, and workshops. So far, Agile on the Beach has announced several sessions, including:

Agile Prague is a collaborative two-day conference where attendees are encouraged to chat with speakers.

Sessions and workshops will cover various topics such as Agile organization and leadership, business agility, technical practices, and culture.

LDX3: The Festival of Engineering Leadership

KCDC 2025
Kansas City Developer Conference (KCDC) is a two-day conference with an optional pre-conference day of workshops or a post-conference kids tech day.
KCDC encourages new and experiences QA professionals, Tech Managers, UI/UX Designers, Developers, and Architects to attend. Sessions for 2025 are still in the works, and the call for speakers is open until February 21, 2025.

That Conference 2025
That Conference is a “four-day summer camp” for developers who are excited to learn about mobile, web, cloud, and technology topics.
We love that this is one of the few family-friendly software conferences out there. It takes place in the Kalahari Resort and Waterpark and includes both professional and family tracks, so your whole family can tag along.
Exact dates and sessions are still in the works, but attendees can look forward to more than 200 sessions, several hands-on learning workshops, and networking opportunities.
