This May, we made filtering and search more efficienct and introduced API improvements your Automation Engineers will love. We've been busy building features that make test management less painful and give you more control, focusing on what you've told us matters most.
As always, any new feature that started as a feature request on Canny includes “✅ Feature request completed.” Here's what shipped in May.
Advanced Search and Filtering Capabilities
We've expanded the search and filtering functionality across both Repository and Test Run Details pages to better handle large-scale test management.
The enhanced search now supports multiple parameters simultaneously and includes Suite as a searchable parameter. These improvements make it significantly easier to locate specific test cases within large repositories and complex test runs, for example, quickly finding all 'regression' test cases within your 'Login Flow' suite that were 'failed' in the last test run. This dramatically improves efficiency for teams managing extensive test suites.
API Enhancement: In-Progress Status for Test Steps
We've extended our Public API to support more granular test execution reporting.
The API now supports reporting in_progress status for individual test steps, not just overall test case results. Previously, test steps were limited to passed, failed, blocked, or skipped statuses. This enhancement provides teams with greater visibility into real-time automated test execution and enables more detailed reporting across CI/CD pipelines.

We're pleased to continue advancing our AI-powered QA assistant, AIDEN, which we introduced in Q1 2025.
AIDEN is as your QA architect, helping teams design more effective test strategies and identify potential issues early in the development process.
